Game 4 of the 2022 Stanley Cup Final lived up to the hype.
The Colorado Avalanche earned a road win with a 3-2 decision in overtime against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Colorado, which leads 3-1, is now one win away from capturing its first Cup since 2001. And the Avalanche have a chance to do it at home in Game 5.
Here’s a look at the updated market for series prices and what to make of it ahead of Friday’s Game 5. Remember to view our sportsbook promotions for more details on new offers and bonuses.

Making Sense Of New Odds
I’ve been beating the drum to bet on the Avalanche wrapping up this series in five games for several days now. You could have bet on Colorado to win this series, 4-1, for a price of +200 at WynnBET ahead of the team’s road win in Game 4. But the series handicap has yet to be updated at our online sportsbook.
Looking at the odds for Friday’s Game 4, Colorado is now -170 on the moneyline. As for the puck line, the Avalanche -1.5 is +150. It is clear that our oddsmakers expect the Avalanche to finish the job on Friday.
Maybe this entire series could have been different if Wednesday’s overtime went the other way. While it is never a good idea to count out the two-time champions, it seems difficult to justify betting on Tampa Bay to overcome a 3-1 deficit.
I would rather bet on Colorado’s moneyline price for the next game and start looking ahead to 2023 Stanley Cup odds. WynnBET released its NBA championship odds just days after the 2021-22 season ended, so keep an eye on that NHL market this summer.
