Don’t look now, but the 2023-24 NFL season is upon us. As offseason programs open up, it won’t be long before we’re playing the Hall of Fame game on August 3 between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.
Right now, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and running back Dalvin Cook are available in free agency, which is a bit of an anomaly for June, but other than that, rosters are put together. We shouldn’t see much movement until players are cut during NFL preseason.
With the summer in full swing, the WynnBET.com team is breaking down win totals in the NFL on a division-by-division basis. Be sure to read all about the AFC East Win Totals when betting on that division.
Thus, now is a great time to look to the futures betting market and see the odds for the NFC West.
Below, we’ll look at the odds and lines for each team and examine whether they’ll go over or under the assigned total.

NFC West Win Totals Predictions
San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers have a relatively high over/under line, especially considering the Week 1 starter is somewhat unknown. Quarterback Brock Purdy underwent surgery on his elbow this offseason, and it’s completely unclear whether he’ll be back in time. If he misses time, Trey Lance, who’s barely played football thanks to sitting out most of his rookie season, and missing time in college due to the COVID-19 cancellations, could be up to start again. However, he leaves more questions than answers. Another alternative includes Sam Darnold, who is working his way into the journeyman category.
Thankfully, the 49ers have a top-five easiest schedule, according to Sharp Football Analysis. With the added 17th game, 11 wins should be doable.
We don’t have a hook to work with here, so a sharp underbet is the way to go.
San Francisco 49ers Win Total Best Bet: Under 11 wins (-110)
Seattle Seahawks
While it may have happened 10 years too late, Geno Smith officially arrived as an above-average starting quarterback in the NFL last season.
He completed nearly 70% of his passes, throwing for 4,282 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
The Seahawks only improved this offseason, bringing back Bobby Wagner, signing Devin Bush, Julian Love, and Artie Burns, and drafting Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Zach Charbonnet, Olusegun Oluwatimi, and more.
Smith already had a great offensive cast to work with, but add a starting center in Oluwatimi, a dedicated slot receiver in Smith-Njigba, and Charbonnet to form a two-headed monster out of the backfield; the Seahawks should have success this season.
Seattle Seahawks Win Total Best Bet: Over 8.5 wins (-150)
Los Angeles Rams
It’s hard to believe that a team that won a Super Bowl so recently is in this position, but here we are.
The Rams lost many players this offseason, including Taylor Rapp, A’Shawn Robinson, Nick Scott, David Edwards, Troy Hill, Jalen Ramsey, and more.
They needed to clear cap space, so they didn’t really sign anyone.
Their first draft choice, TCU guard Steve Avila, came in the second round this year. He will start week 1.
While the team still has Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp, the status of quarterback Matthew Stafford’s long-term health remains a question.
These three players could help lead the Rams to contention, but there’s a lot of youth here, and this should be viewed as a rebuilding year.
The “under” still has good enough value.
Los Angeles Rams Win Total Best Bet: Under 6.5 wins (-120)
Arizona Cardinals
With Kyler Murray on the shelf for what could end up being the entire season, the Cardinals will turn to a quarterback depth chart of Colt McCoy, Clayton Tune, Jeff Driskel, and David Blough to get them through the season.
The team lost Zach Allen, Byron Murphy, Justin Pugh, and DeAndre Hopkins this offseason. While they added Kelvin Beachum, Will Hernandez, and Kyzir White and drafted players like Paris Johnson Jr., BJ Ojulari, Garrett Williams, and Michael Wilson, there’s not much to get excited about here.
This team won four games last year and could win even less this season.
Arizona Cardinals Win Total Best Bet: Under 4.5 wins (-110)
