Brewers at Phillies (7:05pm)

  • Phillies: -120 favorite

  • Brewers: +100 underdog

  • Total: O/U 8

My Pick: Phillies ML (-120)

Yeah, I like Ranger Suarez in this spot. I made the Phillies up to -124 favorites. Freddy Peralta is off to a bad start for the Brewers. He’s been getting smacked around, walking batters. I don’t trust him on the road and hey let’s hope these bats for the Phillies woke up yesterday with that nice win against the Rockies. They’re fourth in the league in batting average. But when they turn it to the bullpen, we just got to close our eyes, cross our fingers, and hope they can get us a save. I’ll take that chance and back the Phillies here at home. Phillies ML for me.

Red Sox at Rays (7:10pm)

  • Rays: -130 favorite

  • Red Sox: +120 underdog

  • Total: O/U 8.5

My pick: Rays ML (-130)

Yeah, Boston has been so up-and-down this season, I feel like it is hard to get a good gauge with them. The whole AL East really is like that. I feel like the Rays are kind of getting their groove back together, they were battle-tested on their road trip, but they won their last two and now coming back home. Corey Kluber has actually looked decent this year, with only 2 runs given up. He does have to keep his walks down and if he can maintain batters 2 through 4 in their lineup with (Devers, Bogaerts, and Verdugo) I think he’ll have a good outing at home. So, give me the Rays on the ML.

Blue Jays at Astros (8:10pm)

  • Astros: -175 favorite

  • Blue Jays: +150 underdog

  • Total: O/U 8.5

My pick: Blue Jays ML (+150)

Yeah, an interesting game here. I do favor Verlander in the pitching matchup and he’ll be getting his first start at home. He should be amped and ready to go deep in the game if he’s able to get through the lineup 2-3 times. I just worry about if the Astros can put together some runs for him. In his first start against the Angels, no runs. His second start only 4. Jose Altuve is still out. They’re going to need to score more runs if they want to beat this Blue Jay team. At this plus-money price, I think we’ve gone too high with the Astros. Give me the dog here, Blue Jays on the ML.

Dodgers at Padres (9:40pm)

  • Dodgers: -160 favorite

  • Padres: +140 underdog

  • Total: O/U 8

My pick: Dodgers -1.5 (+105)

Yeah, at this plus price with the Dodgers run line, I’ll be on that. I can’t be fading this team right now. Besides that, with one loss to Fried and the Braves, the Dodgers are red hot. The Padres are also doing well, they've won four in a row but they just beat the stinky Reds for three games so I don’t know how much we can put into that. The Dodgers' run line was cashing for us for like a week straight, I feel like I’d be dumb to go the other way right now. I think Urias is going to have a bounce-back here on the road. Nick Martinez didn’t have the best outing at home against the Braves who the Dodgers just put 13 runs up in their series. So, yeah at a plus-money price, give me the Dodgers run line.
