Joe longs for the Sonics, Claudia jumps on NBA 75th anniversary prop market Ep. 12 recap

We have officially completed a dozen episodes of Bet to Wynn, and although it may not be as sweet as a dozen cookies, we hope your time here has been a bit more insightful than anything Nestle has to offer!

Truly, it was another rambunctious weekend of football action, MLB postseason play, and NHL excitement. But right now, we’re most thrilled to tip off the 2021-2022 NBA season tonight!

Joe longing for a NBA franchise back in Seattle

Channeling his inner and outer green, Joe Fann kicks off Bet to Wynn ep. 12 with Claudia Bellofatto by diving into the buzz surrounding tonight’s NBA tip off. Decked head-to-torso in vintage Seattle SuperSonics gear (shout out to my family-friend, Gary Payton), Joe reminisces on his younger years when the pride of “Emerald City” was on the hardwood.

Honestly, Joe has never completely gotten over his beloved Sonics leaving the Pacific-Northwest; he admits this to be the toughest blow he’s had to deal with throughout his entire sports fandom. Naturally, he carries a chip on his shoulder when it pertains to any Oklahoma City Thunder content. He no longer has a team, he simply roots for whoever is playing the Thunder. Stay tough, Joe!

Another active NFL weekend

After Joe collects his SuperSonic-tears, he and Claudia welcome WynnBET Sr. Trader Grant Tucker back on to the show! With such a ridiculous weekend on the gridiron, Grant chimes in to give the book’s perspective on a week that the public ultimately won.

With games like Dallas-New England and Seattle-Pittsburgh finishing late Sunday, it’s safe to say many of us out there had trouble winding down that night. The Cowboys provided the public with a wild overtime cover via CeeDee Lamb’s walk off touchdown (for Dallas to remain undefeated ATS). The Steelers nearly let the Seahawks cash a live second half moneyline of +850. Overall, it was a rough day for the book. They would do a little better on Monday night when the heavily-backed Buffalo Bills fell at Tennessee.

Additionally, Tucker, Fann, and Bellofatto provide insights and analysis on other Week 6 games around the league, including Cleveland’s recent losing streak, the Raiders bounce back win in Denver, and Jacksonville’s losing streak coming to an end.
