When Does the College Football Season Start? Key Dates, Schedule for 2022-23 Campaign

The 2022-23 college football season will begin with Week Zero on Saturday, Aug. 27. Most college football teams will have their respective season openers the following week.

Georgia won last year’s national championship with a victory over Alabama last January. Now the entire college football world will set their sights on this year’s national championship game, which will take place on Monday, Jan. 9 in Los Angeles, California.
