Can the Las Vegas Raiders bounce back?

Things have taken a turn for the worse since the Las Vegas Raiders opened the year with a 3-0 record.

Las Vegas suffered a 28-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football in Week 4 before getting handed a 20-9 defeat by the Chicago Bears at home in Week 5.

On Monday, head coach Jon Gruden resigned following recent articles in The Wall Street Journal and New York Times detailing the use of racist, homophobic and misogynistic terms by Gruden in emails reportedly dating back to 2010.

Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia was named the Raiders’ interim head coach, and the team will have to travel to Denver this weekend. Las Vegas is a four-point underdog as of Friday morning, so oddsmakers are expecting a third consecutive defeat.

Blackmon doesn’t believe the Raiders can bounce back, but Williams makes the case for why they will. Listen to this discourse, and you be the judge!

Are the Browns underrated?

Cleveland is favored by three points against the undefeated Arizona Cardinals this week, but Dais makes the case for why the Browns are the best team that nobody is talking about.

The Browns are 3-2 with a +28 point differential, currently sitting third in the AFC North. They have lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 5, both of which were one-score defeats.

Dais cited net yards per play as a reason why Cleveland is underrated. It is a stat that he monitors closely when handicapping games, and CLE ranks first in the NFL in that category.

It is always interesting to hear about each bettor’s process!

Favorite picks

Let’s recap their favorite picks for this week...

Blackmon, who is 8-12 on the year, is picking the Chargers, Cardinals, Broncos and Packers to all cover in their respective matchups. His underdog pick of the week is the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Miami Dolphins.

Dais is putting his 10-10 record to the test, choosing to back the Ravens, Browns, Raiders and Bears to cover in those marquee matchups. Dais, meanwhile, is rolling with the Raiders as his underdog pick of the week.

Good luck to all this weekend!
