Week 6 of the NFL season has come and gone, and the team at Upsets & Underdogs is back to recap it all.

In the 15th episode of this show, Will Blackmon and Nick Dais recap all the biggest moments from this past weekend. They get into huge wins by the Raiders, Jaguars and Cardinals. Plus, Derrick Henry lifts the Titans past the Bills on Monday night!

As always, they circle back to their picks to let you know how they did. Make sure to check out their show every Thursday to get their bets before the weekend happens.

Here is the full episode:

Who is the MVP?

We are all guilty of talking about the MVP race too early in the season, but this year’s race figures to be a good one.

Kyler Murray is the favorite with +300 odds as of this week, while Dak Prescott and Josh Allen both have a price of +450 at WynnBET. Yet, Will Blackmon made the case for two options further down the board, and it is hard to disagree with his logic.

Given what they mean to their team and their team’s success, how could you not pick Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson (+900) or Tennessee running back Derrick Henry (+2000) then? That’s Blackmon’s opinion, at least, based on how valuable they are to their own team.

Neither will likely win the award, but it does beg the question about who is the most valuable player to their particular squad. Have a better response? Respond with your choice in the tweet below!

Jaguars, Raiders pull off big wins

Don’t let the outside noise of both franchises distract you from the fact that both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders pulled off big wins this past weekend.

The 2021 season has been a mess for the Jaguars, but they earned their first win with a 23-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins in London. After Jon Gruden resigned earlier in the week, Las Vegas secured a 34-24 road win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

It got Blackmon thinking at least. He thinks teams with professional athletes can still win, despite all the drama. What do you think?

Takeaways from the crew!

In the final segment at the 33-minute mark, both Blackmon and Dais ended the show with overall takeaways on Week 6 of the NFL season.

Blackmon big takeaways: Browns are in trouble, Cardinals prove they are for real (again), and both the Titans and the Ravens are demonstrating that it is a long season. If you remember, both Baltimore and Tennessee deal with some early setbacks.

Dais believes that both the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns might be cursed. Those two teams had high expectations entering the year, but have fallen short so far. He also makes the case for why the MVP race will go down to the wire, which would be interesting for us fans!
