Bet to Wynn is BACK! After sending both Joe and Claudia on assignment this past weekend, the two return to the Blue Wire studio at Wynn Las Vegas with an interesting array of stories. With everything that occurred in football over the past five days, there is no shortage of hot content to dive into. For a full recap of Bet to Wynn’s second full episode, see below!
Life on the Road
Episode two of Bet to Wynn gets underway with our two wonderful hosts exchanging travel stories from the previous weekend. Claudia ventured out from Vegas to the Midwest, and Joe headed down to South Beach, the two returned to Wynn Las Vegas with an assortment of stories.
Claudia, who was on assignment from Indiana through Michigan, started her weekend by hanging out at Lucas Oil Stadium (home of the Colts) in downtown Indianapolis, where she was able to check out the brand new, in-stadium WynnBET West Club! A fantastic experience for fans and bettors alike, be sure to visit if attending any Colts games this season!
After Indy, Claudia went up to Michigan for some college action in Ann Arbor at ‘The Big House’ on Saturday (with NFL tight end Jake Butt). Then, she made the short trip east to Ford Field in Detroit for the Lions’ game on Sunday! It’s safe to say Claudia left the state of Michigan with major respect for both fan bases.
Joe's travels would be a little less extensive, but equally as entertaining. Out in Miami, Fla., Joe sat down with former NFL all-pro wide receiver and WynnBET brand ambassador Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. The two would touch over many topics, conversing as if they were old friends reconnecting. Of course, Ocho couldn't let us go without dropping a dance lesson: definitely will be adding that one to my repertoire. I can only suggest you do the same. Get 'em, Ocho!
Recapping a wild weekend of football
Claudia and Joe each shared their takeaways from the opening week of NFL action. Ultimately, the two were both left extremely impressed by Kyler Murray, Joe doubled down on his Russell Wilson MVP prediction, and then insight on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers is offered. Is it possible that Rodgers could have other plans in Green Bay? Well, how susceptible to conspiracy theories are you? But be sure to watch the FULL EPISODE for all the insights and details.
With NFL Week 1 in the books, Claudia and Joe reflected on last week's picks. After one, Joe is 1-0 (via riding with Seattle) while Claudia is 0-1 (from taking New England). For this week's Wynning picks, the two turn their attention to Monday Night Football right here in Sin City. Ahead of last night's Ravens-Raiders game from down the street at Allegiant Stadium, Joe and Claudia committed to their Wynning picks. Joe, conflicted on the moneyline, elected to ride with "TE Mark Andrews ANYTIME scorer", while Claudia decided to roll with the UNDER 50.5 total points. Spoiler alert: neither wager covered. Better luck next week, guys!
Friendly Hometown MLB Wager
The MLB regular season is in the home-stretch! With on-going races going in both leagues, the Wild Card standings have become increasingly tight, especially in the American League. As chance (or fate) would have it, two of those teams right in the middle of it are the Seattle Mariners and the Boston Red Sox. Guess where our two hosts are from?
Now, if you tuned into the debut episode of Bet to Wynn, you saw these two mercilessly harass each other for being ‘homers’ (someone who always rides their hometown team). So, the fact that Joe is from the Pacific Northwest, and Claudia from New England, works perfectly.
Even better, the Mariners and Red Sox started up a three-game series in Seattle on Monday night. The bet between Claudia and Joe is as follows: if the Mariners win this three-game series, then Claudia has to do the next Bet to Wynn show in Joe’s ‘Ken Griffey Jr.’ jersey (could be worse); if the Red Sox win the three-game series, then Joe records the next show in Claudia’s bedazzled Red Sox cap.
With the Mariners defeating Boston 5-4 last night, Claudia is officially in the hole ...
Bet to Wynn is presented by WynnBET. Episodes are recorded from Blue Wire Studios at Wynn Las Vegas every Monday and Thursday.
